Leave the Doubt: Walking by Faith

When entering certain venues, there are certain items that cannot enter with you. For instance, at art showings and music events, the usual prohibition is that you leave recording, mechanical, and photographic devices outside of the function. If one violates this and is caught, there are consequences. The same holds true as the Christian enters prayer. Paul stated it this way,

I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. I Timothy 2:8

He encouraged his audience to leave not only wrath, but also doubt as they entered into prayer. If we are not careful, we will enter into God’s presence with the wrong items, which could result in negative consequences, such as frustration, depression, and unanswered requests.

We must know that we can approach God in any condition we may be in, yet faith has to be the governing factor. On today, believe in your God who is faithful and leave the doubt as you enter His presence through prayer.

It’s Already Alright: Knowing God Will Work things Out

Man, if it is not one thing, it’s another! But thanks be to God who will always cause us to triumph. Though life brings problems and some things seem to last a long time, you have to trust that everything will be alright. Even now, many are facing difficult times and circumstances. Some are caught in the valley of indecision. Others are drowning in sorrow and despair. However, just know that it is already alright.

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. 2 Cor 2:14 (KJV)

God is able to do all things. Just because He allows us to enter into numerous adversities, it does not mean He intends for us to stay there.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. Psalms 34:19 (KJV)

Remember on today that many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God will surely deliver from them ALL. Just trust, it’s already alright.

Time to Get Back on Track

Let’s get to it. Many Christians today are off track. They started out pursuing Christ, His plan, and His purpose. Now, many are sitting on the sidelines bound by regret, depression, fear, and doubt. However, it is time for the Christian to arise and take his rightful place in Christ.

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Phil 1:6 (KJV)

It is not the will of God for anyone to stay off course. Forgive yourself, forgive others, and trust God’s faithfulness. He will complete the work that He started in you if you are willing for Him to do it.

Be encouraged on this day. Know that you can get back on track and receive all that God has for you in this life. If He was faithful to His servants of old, He will be faithful to you to ensure your success. Only trust Him to finish His work through you.

The Rich Blessing: God Can Add With No Sorrow

Photo courtesy of MS Clip ArtEveryone loves a blessing. We understand that a blessing is grace, gift, pronouncement of favor, or an endowment granted to an individual through God’s goodness. Yet, there are many things that people call a blessing, which is not a blessing.

Nothing that you end up crying about, complaining about, and wishing you never had, was the blessing of the Lord. How can I say that? Well…

The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Prov 10:22 (KJV)

We should never settle for a temporary fix, but for eternal satisfaction. God only gives a rich blessing. Whatever He brings into your life will enhance you and that which concerns you. If God does it, no sorrow will be joined to it.

Consider your life today and the things you once called a blessing. Are they a curse to you now? Well… there is hope. You can trust God that He will bring people, places, and things into your life that will add to you greatly. Stand in faith today and ask God for a blessing that will enhance and satisfy.

The Pleasure of God: What Matter Most

We are saved by faith. We walk in faith. We are to die in faith. Our faith in God is the foundation for our belief system as Christians. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. We should continually ask God to increase our faith.

We must strive to fulfill the pleasure of God. Though situations come to put our faith to the test, we must remember that we are to be pleasurable to God, even when tried.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb 11:6 (KJV)

We can come to God at all times. He is willing to help us. We must have faith in His love for us. When we pray, we must believe that God will hear us and aid us. He will reward us for out continual seeking of Him. Cry out to Him again and stand in expectation of His intervention. He promised that He would never leave us nor forsake us.
